Durty Triix Lineup update

Durty Triix announce a changing of the guard on the drum throne. Drummer Jason (JayMac) McDonald has decided to relinquish the DT drumming duties. Whilst still being a passionate supporter of the band’s material, he acknowledges that due to his other musical commitments, he is only occasionally available for Durty Triix shows. Consequently, he felt that he is unable to give the band the service that it requires. Jason will remain a part of the Durty Triix family, as a backup if required.

Gareth Richards, who has been filling in for JayMac on some shows during 2023, will now assume the main drumming role in the band. Gareth, a long-time friend and follower of the band, comes with a diverse and impressive cv, currently beating the skins for both the excellent country-rockers Copperline and indie rockers The Gin Palace.

The DT family has also grown by one more with Gareth’s long-time friend Paul Macmullen being added to the tribe as a stand-in bassist to fill-in when regular bass player Damian McDonald is unavailable.

Durty Triix have four dates coming up as we head into summer downunder.

Fri Nov 17 – The Fortress of Rock – Bridge Hotel Rozelle – with Venomous and Cold Ethyl
